The show wasn't drawing people in. Figured innuendo might work.

Shocking Mac doesn't find anything wrong with Cowley's act.

I tuned in during transition and Mac sounded totally depressed again. not a good sign.

Yeah, the last hour and then the transition to B&B was a little strange. Got his dander up, couldn't articulate his thought and then went through a very strange apology. Hope that is just out of some legitimate WSCR frustration as opposed to questioning himself.

How is he going to end? It just has the feel of a life not fulfilled. It goes to show you that a great Allen Brothers steak can't bring true happiness.

I'm surprised Mac hasn't started hawking Allen Brothers since he rejoined The SCORE...

He's been a bit "off" since his return. Grumpy, dismissive, standoff-ish and doing a lot of the heavy, loud *sighs*, deep breaths and a bunch of other stuff that you probably want to keep "off-mic" during not only the show but a god-damn interview of all things.

He wanted to be anywhere but there during transition, especially when BernSTINE started to do his "bit" when talking over Mac about exercise or whatever. A weird transition for sure.

I hope Mac is ok.

I'm fine, but thanks for the concern. Seemed to me a lot of people were in "a mood" after the Rose injury. Not gonna pretend to be the biggest Bulls fans...but it was "one of those days." The weather contributes... and I didn't have a good workout in a week until this afternoon so that was weighing on me. Really though... I couldn't be better.

Yea, I heard that too. To my ears, Mac sounds more depressed now that before, & he just doesn't seem to be completely focused on his show. I know beating addiction is very very difficult. I wish him nothing but the best of success in getting healthy & regaining passion for his job.
