Mac enjoyed making Dan feel like one of his callers yesterday.

Urge to listen: rising.

I think Mac and Spiegs should just declare war on the afternoon show. The cracks in the B&B ALS are the biggest they've ever been. Never been a better chance.

This show has been terribly awkward so far. Spiegs is very evidently tip-toeing around anything that's not light-hearted.

Glad Mac and Spiegs enjoyed that call.

They're the only ones.

Was he explaining that since D. Rose is hurt there is a good chance that the Bulls best player won't be on the floor tonight?

I wasn't really paying attention. Once I heard who it was, I focused on work. I did hear something about Rose having rickets.

Carrie Sayers sounds like she gives less than a fuck about this Scoreboard Update gig.

Would you?

I want to say that I can't wait until the transition today but that usually leads to disappointment.

traffic is more interesting than scoreboard update.

The more Mac continues to address the depression on-air the more uncomfortable and forced it feels.

I mean I feel for the guy, as I think we've all had depression/substance issues somewhere along the lines, but it's better left off-air. It waters down the rest of his already thin content*.

*-defined in this case as 70's rock, vague non-committal sports thoughts, and a willingness to give hockey fans airtime

I stepped away from the desk for a few minutes. What did he say?

Now we have the Swirsk on. The one and only time I called in and spoke to a sports talk show, Swirsk sent me a coupon for a free Ely's Cheesecake.

Just lightly chiming in on all the tweets/texts that are glad he's sounding better than he was yesterday. It needs to simply not be on-air.

He was also explaining the Bulls would probably have to win 16 playoff games in order to win the championship this year.

Dew, is that username a successor to someone else on these boards? It's hard to believe you are at 500 posts in only a few weeks of posting.....

NSJ? I am the one and only denisdman. I play the mult game on Yahoo Finance board, but never here. I have Chapman on my fantasy baseball team, and since it was time to drop my hockey avatar, I thought I'd move on to something baseball related.

I would pick someone else on your fantasy team, preferably someone not on the Reds.

If it's NSJ, denis would have given me career advice already.

I see him in the member list with a Bengals avatar. Nope, not him, but I do love Cincy. I work for the company that has its name on the Reds Ballpark, so they have a special place in my heart even as a Cubs fan.

What, have you heard of Joey Votto?????

Chapman was a late draft pick that I grabbed before Dusty sent him to the pen. He should have been named a starter or at least a closer. Have you seen his K's per inning this year?

No. A guy called in to say that the Chicago media should respect Pippen more because he led the Bulls to 6 championships.

Didn't think anyone else loved Pip as much as you and thought you called using a pseudonym to avoid angering Goff.

Nah, if I called in with such an awesome thought I'd want it attributed to my real name.

Chapman's stats are ridiculous this season. His value will skyrocket if Dusty ever moves him into the rotation. I have him on 3 of 4 teams.
