Spiegel, I believe. He says some real cornball stuff on the air sometimes.....which I happen to like.

Shortened or altered last names are a trademark of The McNeil & Spiegel Show.

Way before......I think it even started back when Spiegs was a producer for Mac and Terry and I was a lowly lunch fetcher/cart stacker/agget (sp?) maker.
