Because a certain SCORE evening host and NBC5 weekend sports anchor who I now refer to as "Mr. Multimedia" will be subbing for the vacationing Dan McNeil alongside Matt Spiegel Thursday & Friday from 9a-1p. That's right, Scoreheads. Laurence Holmes will be sitting in with Spiegs Thursday & Friday. Don't say SHARK didn't warn you ahead of time.

SHARK is now doing the daily threads for The Danny Mac show.

I'm fairly indifferent to his nerdiness. Hamp and Holmes wasn't a good show, but that wasn't Laurence...that was Hampton. His show at night is decent enough for a non-prime show. I like his baseball thoughts, and I really think he's a good pair with Spiegel. I don't like when he's on with Mac or Boers, but his shows with Bernstein weren't bad last week.

Larry Holmes sucks all the time, non-stop, like a circus seal. It's just that simple.

Now my favorite pairing at this point has got to be Goff-Meatpants. Great show, easy going, funny, flows well and contains two gentlemen who actually know a lot about sports. I enjoy Danny Mac and Meat but it's a totally different show vs Goffer-Meaty.

I like the rare times when you and I agree.

Think the show is sounding pretty good so far. Reasonable and good thoughts on Hawk and baseball announcers in general

Agreed. I like the show, a good pairing at moment, smooth, easy going, they know sports....I'm diggin' it.

I may be off here...but Meat sounds a lot better when paired with anyone besides Mac. He sounds OK with Mac, but Goff/Rozner even Larry are better pairings.

What's the need for Dan Pompei when you have "Bears expert/reporter" Larry in the studio to give you the insight on Charles Tillman, apparently the only Bear he ever talks to? Or Devin at the Mayweather fight. Bring back Goff and Meat.

What happened with Mac about 6 weeks ago was unplanned. This trip to Canada was planned a long time ago. By the way, I think "Mr. Multimedia" himself takes off after tomorrow's show with Spiegs.
