Mac wrote: Oh, there's more Jimmy Pasta. Tomorrow I'll share with you guys a real good Mully story about the lengths to which he travels to avoid me. I'll put it in the midday show thread. We need more activity there. My ego is crushed seeing a couple of inferior products with more views. Wink wink. Mac got muzzled by Mitch. That doesn' mean we can't guess. Light 'em up Chicago!!!!! I say Mulligan's producers cover him in a blind fold at about 8:58, raise him to the ceiling on ropes, then, as Mac takes his seat, he is dropped down from the ceiling and led out of the studio by the M&H producers with guns pointed and Da Ma Na. Mac, getting a kick out of this insanity, still says "How ya doin', Mike?" But Mulligan is doing the "La La La La La, I can't hear you, I can't hear you." Radio people. And we're sick, Mac? |

Does Mulligan hate Mac, because Mac lit a pipe in his presence? |

This is simple. Mully hates Mac because Mac is Irish. |

I doubt many people here know Black 47 or the song Funky Ceili but if you do, this is a parody of it that explains the tale of Mike Mulligan and his dream.... Dream County (Hanley's Song) Hanley was out on the beat for the Hawks I was workin' for the times 2 paycheques every Friday And a dream to move to Ireland some day But I went on with Jigs and North Mondays with Mullly to speed up the move When the Times of Sun gave me the boot They said "Don't let the door hit your ARSE OOOON the way OOOOOOUUUTTTT" Fiddlee diddlee deidely dee I was born to live in a green County Over the seas and far away, stuck in Ameri-kay Fiddlee diddlee deidely dee Where the early bird meatballs are waiting for me Think of me Ireland whenever you hear me on the SCORE web stream I love you, a cushla, but how could I be Without me dream to move to....County Hanley broke down and started to bawl When I told him about me divorce from the times he said "I've got news of me own, Mully, Ive been off the Hawks beat for Two months!!!" He said I'd have to be getting a job So we poured over thoughts and continued to pour! Then Mitch Rosen said "You've got two choices, Unemployment!!, or a full time gig on THE SCORE! Fiddlee diddlee deidely dee I was born to live in a green County Over the seas and far away, stuck in Ameri-kay Fiddlee diddlee deidely dee Where the early bird meatballs are waiting for me Think of me Ireland whenever you hear me on the SCORE web stream I love you, a cushla, but how could I be Without me dream to move to....County So here I am up on Belmont Avenue doing tranny with Mac and a lad with Meat in his pants!! calling me Anglophile and other rubbish drinking hot coffee but no thanks to Herb! Think of you, Ireland, whenever I'm sober Which isn't too often, I have to confess Take good care of me brother Mulligan Bad luck to the family McNeil And give the townfolk a great big kiss.... From MULLY!!!....ON THE SCORE!!!!! Oh Ireland, I'm still crazy about you, girl Does the grass look green, Ireland? Lots of red hair and glasses? Oh, Ireland, I should just take off Take off from America, girl The pubs never close over there I've find a place on O Connor Road I've got the voice in the world, girl, We can stay in it and drink pints forever.... |

Look, if you never fail, that means you're not taking enough risk. You gotta figure out where your limits are and constantly test them. |

Firefox wrote: Why they do transitions with each other? They want to recapture the old magic of the Belmont Avenue times. However, those halcyon days are long gone. Transition was only good between the Monsters show and HFC. Scrap it for good I say. Mac tunes out for most of it and it degenerates in to Spiegs seeking Dan B.'s approval or intentionally taking an opposing stance to something Bernsie said or would think. |
