Now that Kankakee County is knee deep in testosterone... thought it would be fun to start a list of the "news reports" that make you roll your eyes. I heard my guy Jeff Dickerson tell CJH today "Jay Cutler will be arriving in about 10 minutes." Anybody catch a follow up? What was Cutler wearing? Was he smiling? Did his thumb look good? Fire away. |

A few minutes ago on Twitter @ZachZaidman: Matt Forte: "It's just good to be back." Compelling and rich. |

You better be careful with this. Larry might end up wanting to stab you. |

So....Mac, what's it like to be in reality au natural? Since I get TSA'd every flight, I'm only "there" when I'm on vacation. But I'm not sure if that really counts since there is stimulation inherent in the "vacation" activities. I sense a "fire and passion" that hasn't been there recently....or is it restlessness since you haven't been slowing the brain down chemically? Is it clarity? What is it? Serious minds wanna know...the GF has been pushing for a "healthier" lifestyle of late and I'm lazy. Set in my ways... We've taken the alcohol free days. She's dragging me to the gym.... I want to, but don't really want to. I know it would help with motivation from artistic endeavors...nothing kills it quicker than beer. at the very least I hope that "Dangerous Talk" is getting its well deserved time. we went out for pizza and beer tonight... I'm looking forward to the interview with the player that wants nothing more than to be somewhere else. |

The short answer is I'm decidedly more productive. In all areas. I've had a few "wouldn't it be nice if...." moments, but for the most part, I haven't missed it. Happy to talk with you more extensively about this privately, Doug. I'm reluctant to do much of it here or on the show. Comes across as preachy or "born again." |

Sober Mac is bringing da fire and da passion. Keep up with the ball busting Mac, regardless if it might hurt some feelings. Who needs friends when you have creepy listeners that will come to your house and paint your house for you. |

This has the potential to be a classic thread. Thanks, Mac. We need the obligatory...... ZZ: "You know guys, there has been a lot of talk about <insert random, bad, unknown player>, he is on the field and making a lot of plays. The coaching staff is definitely impressed, he's got 8 simulated INT's so we'll see as camp goes on but he's certainly caught some attention here." 2 weeks later...<insert every single nobody that ZZ has mentioned> is cut from the team and never heard from again. Once I hear that I will definitely know it's time FOR FOOTBALL. P.S., I'm loving the show for many, many months now. Definitely the best thing going at the Score. |

Roy is looking to be a major factor for the Bears offense this season." |

I can't wait to hear how much the O LINE is improving because they are facing Julius Peppers(at half speed) and the rest of the ferocious D LINE in two-a-days. GO BEARS and take the CUBS with you.... PS. Mac, I will withdraw my $100 offer for your golf clubs because you two are dating again. |

Mac wrote: "news reports" that make you roll your eyes. Pretty much all of them to a certain extent. Its like Spring Training where there is a veteran with something to prove, or this pitcher dropped weight or whatever. On every Bears report, we will likely hear something to the extent of at least one of these; -Cutler looks great -Hester is running good routes -OLine looks solid -Major Wright got burned X amount of times today (which is a bad eyeroll as opposed to a "this is an awful story" eyeroll) -Players 'love' the no 2 a days |

Chris_in_joliet wrote: When is Mac going to Bears camp to report who has the biggest backside this on the team? #nohomo Yep. Football season has truly arrived when Mac starts salivating over several football players well formed asses and huge throbbing wieners. It's time for the NFL when you can just feel Mac drooling all over when he brings this up. |

No they are going to pound that the O-Line is much better because Mike Tice is now the Offensive Coordinator theme hard this camp. And they might be right because he won't be calling for 7 step drops for 80% of Cutler's passing plays this year. I am not gonna miss Mrs. Doubtfire as the OC |
