Don't get me wrong. I don't think Bernstein ordered this attack on Mac. I think it's Goff and Larry acting on their own for whatever reason. They've gone rogue. Nevertheless, if Mac retaliates, you know damn well they'll run to Bernstein for cover and hide behind him. Meaning they'll use Bernstein's show to fight back. |

I know Mac has mellowed since his early days in radio, but I think he's got one last fight in him. He's taken down Coppock, North, and Teinowitz just to name a few. Bernstein knows Mac can be dangerous, so there's no way he'd endorse the behavior that Goff has exhibited. Every Dan Manneeeeeel that is uttered by Goff is the equivalent of Billy Batts telling Tommy, "go get your shine box!". We all know how that ended. |
