Mac is pretty adamant about this. I don't agree. Cutler can lead the Bears to a SB. I don't think they will because the team isn't good enough, but he offered Meat 5-1 odds that Cutler never makes a SB. That seems a little too negative.

Good for Spiegs calling him out on his ridiculous generalizations. Mac's habit-which seems like a bit- of grandiose, often bullshit, statements can be somewhat amusing on air, not so much in print. Once a week is too much.

I never got the story behind this: why does Spiegs call his wife the biscuit? I'm assuming that's who that is. I keep thinking he's talking about his dog or something.

Be careful man, she will get on here and be pissed off at you. Don't mess with the biscuit

I'm not sure exactly why it's Biscuit- perhaps in part to his long time love of biscuits and gravy- but when they started the show a few years ago, Spiegs I believe was in the final stages of his divorce? He never referred to his current wife by name until after all that stuff was done with.

It's like if you went to a restaurant and ordered the special but it wasn't special and you said you didn't like it but you wanted more so you sent it back with instructions that you wanted them to improve it, not necessarily not eat it, so when it came back you felt it was really unchanged but decided to eat it anyway because you were hungry and thought you deserved a discount or something on the meal because it wasn't to your liking, yet still paid the full price with tip and decided to come back the next night anyway and order the same thing even though it was no longer the special.

You must have missed about 85% of my previous posts.

My secondary assumption is fellatio.

Whenever I see the name YourMom, I immediately begin to spout long, drawn-out and confusing restaurant dining analogies.

It's involuntary.

Haven't listened to local sports talk radio since the Bears loss.

Is it bad that I like drinkin' & drugin' Mac more than the.....current version?

Don't be such a silly Caller Bob.

The Sox are just fine. Detroit blows. That's enough to take the division...

But seriously. I'm not sure if I'll ever listen to local stuff again. It's going to take something major (on air fight, really good bit, new shows for Jason or Drinky) for me to come back.

...or I'll just start again on Monday if the Bears win.

I applaud your effort to give up your Larry love.

I know it is tough, but you are making the right choice.

Was just imagining how funny it would be if they shotgunned the taped version of Zaidman's update.
Maybe they have before but I had to audibly chuckle at the thought.

Jimmy, Jay Mohr started on the smodcast and he promotes it almost as much as his own company now. Good stuff there.
