There was a false report of Allen Pinkett being fired. Coppock reported it. I reposted the link from the general section. He still might be fired. Larry and Goff, technically, got fired from hosting with Mac. Get it?

(By the way, I don't believe that Spiegs or Mac got Pinkett fired. I was joking. )

IMG has suspended, not fired, Allen Pinkett for 2 more Notre Dame Radio Network broadcasts. He's eligible to return for Notre Dame's annual game vs. Michigan. In the meantime, Don Criqui & sideline reporter Jeff Jeffers will call the Irish home opener Saturday vs. Purdue, heard locally on 89WLS-AM starting with Chet Coppock's local pregame @ 1P.
