This MLB Network guy you guys have on right now is incredibly long-winded and boring. When someone is taking 2-3 minutes to answer a question that should be adequetly answered in 30 seconds do you and Spiegs do anything to try to reign in his answers a bit or just let him ramble? That was a pretty annoying listen right there.

This guy was much worse than Stone. He talked forever and didn't say much. I'm not sure the guys asked more than 3 questions and the interview was at least 10 minutes. I think.

Well, I think, FarveFan, that the guy you're referring to, FarveFan, is Dan Plesac. The thing you need to know, FarveFan, is that McNeil and Plesac have some history together. Back when Mac was in High School, FarveFan, his Highland squad regularly faced off against Plesac's Crown Point team, FarveFan, and Mac has on several occasions, FarveFan, referred to one occasion where Plesac walked Mac on four straight pitches, only to pick him off at first, FarveFan.

FarveFan.

Why didn't they just give him the shotgun?

Mully is just as bad, if not worse.

Ah, yes, The Mully/North model of interviewing where one asks and answers the question at the same time and leaves the subject scratching his head or getting angry.

It wasn't a great interview despite each person being from NWI.

The shotgun would have been hilarious!

Look, I mean Lance Briggs. Is he a Hall of Famer? I mean we've got Brian Urlacher who is likely going to the Hall of Fame, and he's got Briggs standing there next to him doing all of the same things Urlacher is doing, some even better. I mean in my eyes that says Hall of Famer, but Briggs doesn't get the accolades that Urlacher does. Briggs is great, so he belongs in the Hall of Fame, I think you gotta believe, right?

Terry Boers takes 2-3 minutes just to ask a question.
Just sayin'.

Yes you are.

Terry rambles and talks in circles most of the day, but when a guest is on he rarely asks a long question. And that's if he even asks one at all.

Usually he's asleep.

I think Terry goes upstairs to make a sandwich when there's an interview going on.

Despite? What, is Northwest Indiana known for its conversational adroitness?

 +1 .... though, I've heard many of those interviews, and I have the same inclination, even if there aren't any stairs around.
