Even though the segment sucks, Mac is a prime candidate for Who You Crappin' here. All I have to ask is, how many Cubs games has Mac actually watched...this year and in all years past combined? I'll set the over under at 1.

Isnt Mac a former Cub fan that converted? I thought I had heard that at one time or another.

You are correct. Mac always talks about being a converted Cub fan.

I'll set the over/under at 1 for how many games of any sort Mac watched from beginning to end.

Including Game 5 of the 2005 WS.

Heard Mac suggest Mark Grace as next color commentary guy. I'd be fine with that. Heck, perfect guy to sing the 7th inning stretch and forget all this nonsense and wasting time with these celeb guests that usually just muck up the broadcast. Yes, coming from a Sox fan who watches some Cubs games.

JORR will be along shortly to explain to everyone that Mac and Bernsy are both closet self loathing Cubs fans. Its Science.

It's not happening, Eaglo. On CSN's "Chicago Tribune Live" yesterday, better known by Mac as "The Joker's Wild", Kerry Wood isn't exactly interested either in the analyst job.

He says he's a big Billy Williams fan

Through the years, I've always gotten the sense that Mac has watched a lot of Cubs games.

Wasn't there a photo of him at Wrigley several years ago where he was in the front row by the Cubs dugout, slapping one of them a high five after a huge play that went the way of the Cubs?

Yes, Mac was a Cubs fan, but converted to the White Sox after a particularly dismal season. Can't remember which.

In all fairness, he's not really a Sox fan either. He says baseball is boring. A great attribute to have when you talk sports for 4 hours a day in a city which has two baseball franchises.

Not too mention that he pays no mind to the NBA and his most prominent recognition as an NFL guy is as Danny Green & Gold.

Up yours Hawger!!

Well, it was the lowest rated world series in baseball history, so I would believe Spmack's original statement. I remember even reading it had lower ratings than the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals.

People are stupid. All 4 games were very entertaining from a baseball standpoint. Big HRs, great pitching, big defensive plays.

In all fairness to Mac, he does give the rabid sports masses what they so richly desire. Unstoppable Blackhawks hockey.....

Oh... Wait...

The first time I read this I all but dismissed it, particularly because the first time I heard the term "moth" used it was Mac attaching it to Grace when he was with the Cub. Now it seems the concept will have to wait at least 2 seasons before becoming the kind of controversial hire that will "move the meters."
