Let the solo discussion continue, EASILY the WORST sports minute heard to date was just delivered to us by Boomer Esiason, where he pretends to read a sports minute form 1965 discussing his prediction for the Colts/Jets Superbowl....pure stupidity

If you say Ray Lewis is the best defensive player in history, then you have an argument. The best football player almost has to be a QB. QB's have by far the highest impact on a team's performance. I think we saw that with the Colts, Redskins, and Broncos this year. None of those teams improves that much with Ray Lewis in his prime. A good QB is probably 4 wins+ depending on how bad the team was without him.

I don't even think you have an argument there. Just off the top of my head, I'm thinking I would rather have Mean Joe, Reggie White, Ronnie Lott, Randy White, LT.
