A little Finfer is fine, but hearing him several times a week grates on me. I also think he's better solo, less Catskills shtick. Why does Zawaski never get a chance to co-host with Meat during one of Mac's 135 off days? Not enough of a sycophant?

Too much sarcasm from Finfer, gets on my nerves.

Finfer has a radio voice; Zawaski has a lisp.

Zawaski has a lisp and Shep has a nasally voice.

It is better than Zawaski's in tone, but don't quite know if I'd call it a radio voice? I find it very Kermit-like and over time, grating. The Randazzler has the true radio voice.

It's not a classic radio voice, but it's good enough to conceivably be paid for talking.

Did Meat Bomb honestly compare Tony Campana to Peter Bourjos??

I imagine that if you're around Finfer too much you'll eventually begin to detest him. His sarcastic, arrogant nature is best in small samples.

Spiegel was dying to bring up Campana just to play his parody song, you could feel it. Noone is prouder of their own interviews or parody songs than Meatpants.

I think the segment intro parody songs are worse than the player parody songs.

Finfer has picked up the Jesse mantel for worst thoughts on the station

I enjoyed two non practicing jews breaking down the role of the pope discussion.

Finfer doesn't appear to have much basketball knowledge.

Yeah, I have grown to really dislike spiegal...with his campana love n timberlake love combined with shitty parody songs.

Finfer is much better than Larry.

Zawaski could potentially be a great on air personality if he would just work on his voice, delivery.

Absurd. I am not a big Timberlake fan, but what he did just with N'Sync is better than anything Harry and Loho have done.

Hey, Mac until recently openly despised the NBA, and only now relegates it to 5th tv status, and he's the reigning heavyweight champion of sportsradio. Just ask his Twitter page.

I think Zawaski would be competent enough talking Bears and baseball. Most of the station has very, very fringe knowledge of the major sports beyond the scope of Chicago.

The only thing worse than Finfer on the radio is Finfer on Twitter. Trying way to hard to be the next Danny B.

Finfer is an obnoxious jagoff on twitter.

The show was a rough listen in patches, overall it isn't very solid.

Finfer is ok as he's learning his chops but he still needs some work. I also get tired of Meat getting all "mumbling under his breath" when someone dares to rebuke something he said. It happened with the J. Noah, minutes played, plantar fasciitis talk, Meat said that the injury won't get better if he plays but also won't get worse....Finfer then said that it will get worse and won't heal if he keeps playing hard minutes on it. Meat got prissy and did his thing after that.

This is why I miss Goff, him and Meat were a very solid show when paired.

I miss Goff as well. The score really missed the boat on this one. Holmes is ok... at times, but he could have easily been replaced by Goff, who is much more interesting and talented.

Have to agree. I thought Spiegel was actually at his best with Goff. Too chummy with Mac, I think when he's sparring a bit - if he can remain good natured and not get all bitchy, which he too often does - he's pretty solid. Goff was able to push his buttons a bit.
