You haven't been suspended in a long time. Why don't you knock bernstein's teeth out?

Spiegal often comes off as a guy who constantly wants to be seen as a good guy. A guy that is politically correct to a point where it comes off as disingenuous. Plus the way he chose to explain how he had to give up the Baseball show he did previously on weekends, to spend more quality time with Rueben, came off like a guy trying to prove something to the world about how he's a really good dad. Is it tiresome to work with someone who is always seemingly seeking approval???

There are a handful of comments I want to address in some recent threads. These are interesting times -- contracts expiring, at least one radio station potentially restructuring, firings. Could be an interesting summer. Then again, perhaps nothing will change anywhere. I gave up predicting the radio business a long time ago. Anyway.... fire away. I'll get on it after Sunday's Hawks-Wings tilt at The Joe.

1.) Do you still covet the afternoon drive-time slot? 2.)In your opinion, what does ESPN need to do to make themselves competitive again in the Chicago radio market? I seem to think they have the talent but the pieces simply aren't in the right place, that and the ESPNing of the shows hurts at times. 3.)Why is BernSTINE such a raging douchebag when it comes to his dealings with Schuster? Danny B. did it again today at the end of the show when Schuster was giving his opinion on the whole "Upper Body Injury" thing with Crawford. Anyways, thanks for playing with us.

Since you shotgunned Zaidman (quite deservedly so might I add), he's been doing his Zaidman Minutes recorded on your show. Is this because he is mad at you? If so, wouldn't you say it's time for him to stop being such a vagina? If not what's the deal then? My opinion is that he is a gingerass twat. Mac, I do think Spiegel is a good fit with you. It took a while, but I think you two have good chemistry. That said, it's been pretty obvious that Matt has been progressively becoming a real douche. From his "part timer" shot at Abbatacola to his flat out insulting comment to Jack O'Callahan this week, he seems to be the classic egomaniac with an inferiority complex. Have you noticed this? Does it bother you? Or are you like us here and you actually like watching this slow meltdown?

Alright, let's address this for the record. "Mac vs. Goff". Don't deny it, Mac. You'd only be insulting CSFMB's collective intelligence (We have some dummies, but I push the scale to smart). You made some comments on this board about Goff. We heard a few on air confrontations. Goff certainly took his shots at you disguised in that weird "Da Ma Na" thing. You didn't get along with him, right? You didn't like a B&B producer - a lower ranking employee - insulting you, correct? You felt you deserved more respect, right? Especially since you allowed him to sub on your show. You did, in fact, fire Goff from your show when you decided that Finfer would be Spiegel's full time replacement, correct? Hell, Goff even made some snide comments about being off your show on B&B before he went to Atlanta. So he knew it. You had taken enough from him and that's why that decision was made, right?. Dan McNeil, DID YOU ORDER THE CODE RED? It's OK to admit it. Nobody will think less of you. I would have been offended by him if I were in your shoes as well. I would have axed him long before you did. You were a saint for taking it as long as you did.
