Today is going to be hilarious. Passive aggressive Candyman and part-timer Drinky for 4 hours.

Hopefully Drinky is himself b/c he's a good listen when not attempting an act.

They'll probably "settle" their differences and that will last for like 8 or 9 days and then they'll start taking shots at each other again.

ok, well I suppose I can work with that. Still though, how can you get that upset when you've nicknamed your woman "the biscuit" and named your kid after a sandwich?

It's Spiegels way of bragging about the size of his shower.

Mac skips out on Dublin for the 2nd straight year. I'm sure the only reason the station and sponsers want to send the show is because of him. Huge let down for all involved.

I presume they were sent there by Jameson? Booze companies avoid recovering alcoholics.

Serious question from someone who really doesn't know... bottom line - do these two guys really dislike each other or is it a bit?

Mac is the"star" of the show. I'm sure they would want him most of all. I have to believe that it was Mac's decision not to go and a wise one at that. What is the point of going on a trip aimed at an over-indulgence of alcohol, if you have made the decision to abstain from it? The bigger question is ....What the hell has this got to do with sports? ....nothing. So why does the station approve of the trip? What is the point of the trip that provides listeners nothing extra from the broadcast? When they take a trip to the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl or spring training, they get lots of interviews with athletes, coaches and executives in their sport. But this trip actually lowered the quality of the broadcast, in that Mac was not a part of it. Poor management decision approving of the trip.

Jameson is a sponsor, and this is an event to promote their product by having radio stations from around the world attend their pomotion in Ireleand. What Mac and Meat do is to fill time between the sponsor's promotional spots (hint: that's how they get paid), and if the sponsor says "We want you to come hang with us" well somebody has to go (like the Charleston, S.C. golf trips). Ironically, the trips you mention require them to do some actual work beyond talking, as questions of substance have to be formed and understood.

I imagine Jameson's threw down big on CBS nationwide throughout March. The Score is CBS top producer in getting men who drink and have money.

It is probably best for Dan to stay away. Ireland is to drunks as Vegas is to gambling addicts.

I cannot imagine being an alocoholic. After one night, I have absolutely no interest in the stuff for weeks.
