Candyman couldn't make it to Arizona but did make it to California

Matt Spiegel ‏@MattSpiegel670 15h

Just the facts. Thanks. RT @MikeBittles: . @Ecnerwal23 @MattSpiegel670 Illinois #2 in 3PA/Game of teams in RPI top 100. Not necessarily bad?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Herb Lawrence ‏@Ecnerwal23 15h

@MattSpiegel670 @MikeBittles you said that's all they do and then they win a NCAA game shooting 25%. IT'S THE DEFENSE GENIUS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Matt Spiegel ‏@MattSpiegel670 15h

@Ecnerwal23 When did I say they don't play D? Praised Groce for it all year. Was talking about what they do on O. Now try not being a jag
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Herb Lawrence ‏@Ecnerwal23 15h

@MattSpiegel670 never a jag just using your words against you. You said it and now you can't defend it?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Matt Spiegel ‏@MattSpiegel670 15h

@Ecnerwal23 "all they do" was in clear reference to the offense. You made it bigger. Carry on..I'm in Cali..things to do. See you for Miami.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Herb Lawrence ‏@Ecnerwal23 15h

@MattSpiegel670 it's still not all they do on offense but keep believing that. Apparently California sucks b/c ur arguing w/ a part timer

Well, Herb is an idiot. It seems like he says stuff. People respond. Then he says he never said it. Even though it's right there in his timeline. So it really can't be disputed but Herb disputes it anyway. Herb is pretty much a dummy. Let's just call it like it is.

Same thing happened with the "Mac vs. Goff" thing as somebody posted an exchange between Herb and a listener.

Still, Spiegel likes to fuck with the nobodys at the Score. That's the other story here.

You can tell Spiegel's "Part Timer" comment resonates with all of the producers at the Score. Herb used it against Spiegel in that exchange. That comment stung all of them. Not just drinky.

It's quite obvious that none of the Score subordinates like Spiegel. I understand why. He flaunts his status at the Score while pissing on the lower level people. Quite the nerve if you ask me. Seeing he was once a producer and was unemployed until Mac rescued him.

Speigs has done more in the business than Herb can ever hope to do.

He should look down on guys like him.

Don't forget that while all of the other Score people need their job at the station to be their main means of financing their life, Durr Speagol is legendarily prone to treating the Score job as a second fiddle to his Tributasaurus gigs. Can you imagine what kind of comments you'd get if you were out for a few drinks with a few producers from the station? That's gotta be rich.... I think only Bernstein goes out of his way to show massive respect for Tributasaurus; prolly sort of a tribesman-to-tribesman respect thing. I don't think I've ever heard anyone else really say that Tributasaurus is the jam.... tho I reckon Mac has prolly paid plenty of lip service along those lines when i'm not listening.

Bernsie has actually praised The Gull's cover band? I'd think he'd be the first one to mock it. Dan doesn't like to be Jewy with Spiegel. He'd only tribe it up with his betters in offices of power like Epstein, Reinsdorf, Rahm, lawyers, doctors, and accountants.

Herb had his chance but couldn't bite his feelings to himself. He totally fucked his career arc up by being a douche on the Telander show. He proved that he couldn't act like a professional and he is now reaping what he's sowed.

Are you thinking of Jonathan Hood? I'm not aware of Herb doing anything on Telander's show. BTW, Telander looks like death warmed over. I saw him on Kaplan's Comcast show last week.

Yeah, that's it. Sorry for the mix up.

By the looks of it Herb is a douche on Twitter.

Spiegel even helped Mac kick Goff around a litte bit. We all know about Spiegel's thing with drinky. Spiegel even dares to go after Chief Bernstein from time to time.

You know, Mac and Spiegel came to the Score, planted their flag and immediatly went on the attack against "Team Bernstein". There is no denying that. They weren't gonna take their shit nor push their agenda. They weren't gonna be a part of Bernstein's army nor spread the word of his sports bible like the others at the Score.

It's kind of a good thing. Spiegel is still a dick, though.

I was actually going to, jokingly, put something like that in my post.

It's like we're on the same wavelength or something.

no, just specifically soul patches and goatees (semantically, that's just the bit under the chin). that's a fucking affront to good taste everywhere.

I wish I could grow a big Tom Selleck type mustache. It would keep people off guard as they wondered "Is that guy gay?"
