Not a peep, unless I missed it.

Jesus Christ Mac, we've heard the Singletary isn't in the top 5 of '85 Bears rant countless times, such a tired spiel. Always followed up with the fact that Mac's buddies on that team didn't like Singletary. Getting stale Dan.

I hear ya, but Id give him a pass since their are people thinking the Bears should be asking for Singletary's blessing to use his number

Yeah, it's relevant, sure.

But it does get tiresome to hear the "Singletary wasn't even top FIVE on that team! And people from that team agree!" trope from everyone on the station when #50 and the 85 team is brought up. They speak about it in such a way like it's taboo and they just uncovered a super duper seceret that no one has ever spoke about, that they should be speaking about it in hushed tones or face the Ghost of Walter haunting them at night for daring to speak truth to power!

Good point. I think it's just complete '85 fatigue on my part. Seems a bit ridiculous to be calling Hampton over it. Thought I always enjoy anticipating the next farm analogy/malaprop from Hamp.

Not that I've heard. Steve in Elmhurst had stated that he knew what was really going on....I wonder if he could elaborate

I don't know if the live read for Ritz Crackerfuls or the guys' upcoming White Sox chat with MLB.com's Scott Merkin made the guys chuckle.

Unless Mac wants to say the nature of his absence, I think it's best I refrain from elaborating. I think Dan is still waiting for some results and perhaps once he has all the information, he will be more forthcoming. Suffice to say, that it was a legitimate health issue and had nothing to do with drugs or alcohol. I'm very happy he's doing better and back on the air.

Methinks you've already said too much.
