So they're going to start pulling you off the links this summer to come in the studio to do online-only shows on those 11:30am starts from Cleveland?

You getting more paper for that?

My LoHo source.

Haha, seriously? Why would the Score give its listener base the option of not listening to a Sox game? Doesn't that kind of, well, undermine paying to carry the White Sox? which is something very few radio stations do in this day and age?

Your source needs to shed some insight into who Mac's new partner is going to be come contract time this summer.

I'm guessing they are going for those people that can only stream and don't want to hear Jimmy NoName talking Eagles football draft.

It's a trial. I was asked to sponsor Boers & Bernstein online tomorrow but everyone knows I can't stand that show.

Is this the same source Doc that you told you NBC5 was going to pay LoHo $275K for covering some per diem shifts?

Perhaps.

And I was correct about him taking over for Paula Faris at NBC. Yet, my critics have yet to prove anything I've said to be false.

I've seen a girl doing the Saturday afternoon newscasts recently. She looks like she has no business being on TV in a market larger than Chebanse.

Never heard of it. Had to look it up.

I never took 57 when I went most frequently.

radio.com is good.
or download winamp and google "streamcenter" and you can find all the links you want. the "10 seconds of glory app" isn't that great. i have more problems with it than successes.

I'm glad they are doing this, even if it is a trial run.

With the ratings that this show is getting lately, whether you like it or not, why wouldn't you want your name and business exposed to those listeners. Bad business.

Did the helicopter need refueling during the trip or could it make it back to Chicago on one tank?

They hadn't yet invented aerial horse-carriages at that time.

White Sox games aren't heard over the stream, CBS radio is heard. This is a good move IMHO as it gives those without AM something to hear other than the national show or switching to another station (105.7 Baltimore).

I think it's a good call by them. Mac & Spiegs won't be the only ones doing it. Boers & Bernstein are doing it this afternoon while the White Sox & Indians are playing. Evening host Laurence Holmes not only is a regular on Steve Dahl's own podcast, but Holmes did a similar arrangement the other night while the Sox & Tribe were playing. He & Yahoo! Sports' MMA scribe Maggie Hendricks were talking about the "UFC on FOX" card the other night in San Jose, CA. You can find that on LaurenceHolmes.com or 670thescore.com if you want.
