The star spangled banner isnt that great. American the Beautiful is probably an upgrade.

I'd trade Montana, North Dakota to Canada in exchange for Prince Edward Island and the rights to Oh Canada.

"America the Beautiful" is meh at best. Anyone who prefers it to the SSB has some seriously shitty taste. Still, it's at least better than the horrid "God Bless America."

It was always horrid. The entire central theme of the song is based around a trite cliche. And the rest of the lyrics are nearly as vapid as 'god bless America.' From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam? Ugh. Garbage.

Heard the show today, really bad. Porky and Finfer are a rough listen. Heard Porky say he wouldn't let his job define his life. Well considering he really doesn't have his heart into the radio thing, that's probably good. Heard Finfer say he was upset with what Chet said about Berns, Porky, and the professor. I haven't seen what he said, but I'm sure it was right on.

ITA. But since Mac decreed Finfer as his permanent replacement, better get used to it (esp. since Mac has made it *extremely clear* he will take off as much time as possible). And as it's painfully obvious that no-balls Mitch won't say "no" to Mac about anything, look forward to hearing Finfer for 75% of the rest of Mac's contract.
