....to fill Mac's chair. Who will be mounted atop a mighty steed on the Fill-In Host Carousel? I don't know, but I'm sure we will find out, with Mac gone for a few weeks I'm willing to bet that it everyone will get a shot, from Holmes, to MattyB, to Finfer to the janitor. I also have a feeling that Meat will take the next 4-5 weeks to also take a bunch of time off...is that good or bad? I dunno, The Score could have a deep bench if every other host wasn't trying to be BerSTINEasourus and BECOME Dan BernSTINE.
Also, as a warning, we are now entering into the Dead-Zone of sports time. No hockey, no basketball, the absolute WORST of trite, shallow, meaningless, contrived and guesswork of NFL talk....this leaves us with bad, bad, bad baseball....it's a wasteland out there, folks. This is actually a time when I think Mac could really do some damage with different show ideas, new stuff and all that....it may work or it may fail but it beats the fuck out of having Double Z on to talk about worthless statistical correlations or Mac getting a chub over all the dicks he's seen in a pro-football locker room. Anyways, just my two cents.
Show Stuff
-There has to be some sort of reference to Sports Talk Dead-Zone...through song or poem.
-Baseball talk focused on rebuilding projects that are real or imagined.
-Trade deadline talk
-NBA trade talk, Dwight Howard is teed up
-Getting close to camp, gotta pimp it. Maybe have Hampton or Buffone on.
-Can the 'Hawks repeat? Salary cap stuff, moves to be made. I'm fine with this, a possible dynasty is within reach.
-Shots at BernSTINE, Tranny Traps, and awkward baby talk.
-The co-host will be someone and will say something.
