Post subject:  OFFICIAL 7/23 Mac/Meat ST: Somewhere in Time....

....Meat sits on vacation, pondering his unknown future and nervously wrapping a scarf around his neck while he sips honey tea. It's Mac and Friends today, folks, so enjoy Mac and Finfer as they ride the wave of golf, baseball and some NFL warm up talk. Maybe Mac will actually know something about what is going on in Chicago sports, today. Maybe not as we will probably have to bring him back up to speed on who is coaching the Bears, who their draft picks were and when camp starts.

Whatever.

9-1pm Mac and someone will talk about things, lust for cock will dribble down Macs chin, Finfer will continue to sharpen his skills as he prepares to take Meats spot and maybe, uh, I don't know....things will happen.

Maybe Mac will make some more not so subtle hints about his contract status? Maybe Meat throws some more gas his contract status? Who knows, but Meat may soon realize how funny it is that he won't miss it 'til it has gone away, if he walks away he will always be wasting time searching for those wasted years.

It's Mac, It's (maybe) Finfer.....it's Tuesday!

True Sox fans don't exist, at least not after yesterday.

"Follow the Cubs' example" is Danny Woo Woo's advice for the Sox.

They are. They suck.

Bernstein, Mully, Mac and Holmes all kneeling before the altar of Theo. Score has a great collection of hosts who profess to be White Sox "fans". Atta boy flagship!

The Garza trade was successful because they got bodies for Garza.

So says Ben Finfer.

Riveting insight.

I can't wait for spmack to talk about WSOX and Curious Hair to tell me the Score hates the Cubs.

I wouldn't say hate the Cubs. They hate people in general by trotting out White Sox baseball and Chris Rongey. :P

Hey, that insight fits right in on AM670...THE SCORE.

Finfer's an idiot. He said Ventura should have let Sale pitch to Cabrera because that's what people want to see. He also said he hasn't watched baseball in over a month. It shows with stupid comments like that.

Has not watching sports become the "cool" thing for sports talk radio hosts to do? Mac can't be bothered to watch basketball and this putz hasn't watched baseball in over a month. I would think that personal or professional pride would compel them to watch.

Tad no understand.

All bases will be touched.

As for this shit show....I like the chemistry, the back and forth is solid but these guys don't really pay attention to the things that they are paid to talk about....and then they boast about it like they won some sort of prize. At least you know that Meat would have at least a clue about Chicago sports baseball outside of what the team names are. As annoying and pissy-pants Meat can sometimes you at least get the feeling that he watches sports, pays attention and can actually be prepared to do his job.....when his voice is intact and he isn't taking days off, that is.

They don't give a shit, I don't give a shit. PTFB.

That list has Gloopan, spada, and Mini Ditka on it. Even if I hated McNeil, I'd want no part of that crew.

I'm not thrilled about it either. Just know that the list you currently belong to includes Elmhurst Steve.

Show me the thread with a list of my name and ES on it.....and don't create one now. It better be historically time stamped.

One can't help but scratch one's head. Some of what is being said is too confusing...The manager should manage to lose?...Fans on 35th Street pay to see the opponents jack the long ball (no fireworks)?...Hasn't watched baseball in a month, but in the Dennis Farina mention of movies on last night, "missed it because of baseball."

Mac, you're a "Blackhawks" fan but you come across as a big bandwagon rider. You'd rather the Cubs win before the Sox win again? Then why care? About either team? Even your beloved hockey team, you quit on them and then blamed the NBA for their missed window of enhanced popularity.

Somewhere between composing the copy, printing/preparing the copy, and the verbal delivery of the copy is a mental disconnect. All around bad, and unnecessarily bad.

I agree with this. It's inexcusable for a person speaking on a sports radio station to say they haven't watched baseball in a month. It's your damn job to watch sports. That's like a stock broker saying, "Well I haven't checked the Dow Jones in a month, but I'd say sell." It's fucking ridiculous. I love Mac. I'm probably one of his biggest supporters/enablers on this board. But Christ, when you basically say I don't give a fuck, why should I as a listener give a fuck? I only heard about the first half hour of today's show, but from the comments here, it doesn't look like I missed much.
