....of yet another month without Danny Mac, he's gone....again. Let us hope that he comes back from wherever he is ready to do battle with the NFL and his thirst for locker room dong. Meat is in, I think and I couldn't be happier with his performance since he was given his new paper. Keep it on the even keel Meat, save those princess meltdowns for select occasions. Also, a pretty good interview with Teddy G., yesterday. I enjoyed the show. Anyways... -Steroid talk leading to suspension talk leading to Rozner interview leading to tired poop. -NFL CAMP TALK. The Bears are doing things on a field, some veterans get a day off, some play football. -ZZ calls in on his StarTac phone to tell us about things that are going on. There will be blood and buttons will be punched. -More Johnny Football talk? I actually found the interview with Teddy G. pretty good and informative, Johnny Football seems like a guy who doesn't give a shit and is a bitch. I think that should cover it, fellas. I'm sure there will be some pop culture stuff, music and movies tossed in to fill time....this can be a positive or a negative depending on Meats tone. Listen, Don't Listen....Listen to podcast. This is bad. When Spiegel is in the captain's chair the show becomes hit and run. Mac needs to get back ASAP. Once training camp starts baseball talk should be 30 minutes max a show. |

Loves whining that Mac talks too Hawks hockey (on Chicago's sports radio leader ). But, the minute Mac is gone he transforms the show into Hit and Run. If only there was a show on Sunday that dedicated 3 hours to baseball talk....

I don't want to hear national shit. Get Gillespie on the phone and have him discuss what is happening in AA for the Cubs. He would be a great guest but no one has the vision to call him up. Get Randazzo to do some stuff on the Cougars. Get someone from the Sox affiliates to talk about the kid they got from boston who is doing well in AA. Keep it to 15 minutes per team per day though. Dead ass effort. |

Randazzo is really good talking about baseball. Talking about baseball in the morning and football in the afternoon is a good show strategy. |

They're doing a "Why I punched someone" segment with callers, which has potential. However, Laurence has to do what he can to ruin it with his phony over-the-top laugh.  Is anything this guy says or does an honest representation of himself? Well, I suppose his horribly awkward on-air interaction with women is one. |
