That was a surprising trade, and from what I heard on the radio last night it sounds like they also want to ditch Brandon Weeden. When they play the clip of Trestman talking about Martellus Bennett likening him to Willy Wonka you can hear Laurence's over-the-top phony laugh in the background. |

Weeden is fucking brutal. I know a lot of Browns fans and them trying to defend him the last year is hilarious. He is old and bad. I think they are seeing what it will take to get Josh Freeman. Its a tough call whether to tank the season and get Clowney and maybe a guy like Freeman at QB and then a stud receiver with that 2nd pick from the colts....or to position themselves to get Teddy Ballgame with the 2nd pick. |
