Hey buddy.... would it be too much to ask for a fishing section here....or is it just pittmike and me? I've been on a few sites but there isn't a ton of give and take and it's not local enough. I'd be all over that section. Actually DOING things is decidedly more fun than talking about OTHERS doing things. Secondly....we should do a board charter (at least one boat) next year. Dragging baits in Lake Michigan isn't my favorite thing to do in a boat, but it's much more social and I get a kick out of seeing inexperienced anglers experience the rush of fighting a 20-lb king salmon. |

Maybe you aren't reading my mind for the fishing section, but was in Montrose Harbor today looking at the "FOR SALE" boats as the end of the year comes and guys dont want to pay for storage if they are going to get rid of the boat. Can ad fishing to a section soon. |

I lost the skill back in high school, including the ability to gut and cook them. The problem now is I love fishing up in the northwoods, but it takes up a whole weekend that usually results in catching nothing. |

We go to Lake Delavan and Geneva. My cousin was part of a charter thing in Chicago. Those are fun. He ended up liking it so much he got some crazy captain license. Assuming this is men only...my neighbor would love this. He is a huge fisherman, grew up in NW IN, and played football. I'll send him in my place! |

I used to go to Delavan. There is not a worse lake for water skiing around. It was choppy as all hell at all hours of the day and there was seaweed everywhere. |
