The Hunter Hillenmeyer interview at around 12:30 was outstanding! Good, thought provoking questions were asked.

Hunter basically admitted that he couldn't stand Olen Kruetz, but just did what he had to do to get by. Without saying, he sounded like he was suggesting that Jonathon keep quiet about what happened. He did say how he thought that Incognito is a giant turd wad (paraphrased).

Afterwards, I flipped over to AM1000. Jurko arguing with Carmen about some inane nonsense. Sorry, I am not going loyal to that show at all (no matter how much of a man's man that Jurko is), even with Mac gone.....but that's obviously a whole different subject.

heard bits of the interview. From what they played it sounded a whiney by HH.

A tad, but he seemed genuine and not having to tow the company line at all.

Heard it on the updates. This is Hunter looking to say something in light of the Miami situation. It probably wasn't that bad for him. But he's an ex player now. And now the cool thing is to come out and say stuff.

If the Miami thing never happened, Hunter wouldn't have said anything. Cuz he never said anything in the 3 years he's been retired.

Did he Krutz bust Hunter's chops? Sure. But probably no worse than the way B&B destroyed Mike Murphy.

I dont doubt Olin was a jag, but was HH really breaking any news here? Thats something you just deal with. You work with assholes in life, thats part of it.

Keep it

Have fun listening to Leary's "good, thought provoking" show. I think you will be in the minority.

There really isn't anyone (besides when Telander was on with Hoody and the ZZ experience) that I absolutely feel the need to punch the button over.

Heck, about the only time I turn off The Score is when it's about people's Fantasy Football team or when it's over college basketballed. I flip back and fourth and when it's not interesting, on goes FM or a CD....not rocket science.

I listen to sports radio to hear about sports and be somewhat entertained, plain and simple. The little nuances and personality flaws or whatever really do not bother me.

If I get bored, I push the button to FM. I think we get caught up WAY to much in the personalities that are on the air....but what the fuck do I know.

LoHo isn't bad, in my opinion. I'd prefer Mac, but LoHo is there for now.....no big whoop.

What's up with this new co-host interjecting or injecting himself into the life of every athlete they reference?

Only listened for a couple segments but after the HH interview he made some comments about Olin hazing him (Holmes, the new co-host) during training camp.

And then in another instance he talked about how he and Charles Tillman are going to open "Peanut's Punching Camp" or some such. Like Charles was on board with the idea of partnering with him.

On the plus side, he makes Meatpants a more tolerable listen.

I'm with Eaglo. He raised some good points but Leery is still a weasel.

I kind of took it that the "Peanut Ball Punching Camp" was a joke. If not...yeah, sort of weird.

I'm not going All Out Defend Mode here or anything, but I don't think this is unlistenable as many have said. I'd prefer Mac to be back, but I think we need to calm down a bit on the outrage and whatnot.

Yeah,I always liked LoHo until the guys on here started pointing out some things. Now I listen because I like him AND I want to see if he goes into "creep" mode.

Oh, yeah, the PBPC = joke, but Holmes presentation of it made it seem like he and Peanut were sitting around playing x-box and discussing comic books when Loho came up with the idea.

I figured it was obvious Olin was an a-hole when he attacked his line mate at the FBI gun range...

The one thing about "tough guys" is they fail to understand a bigger, meaner "tough guy" is lurking around the corner. He's lucky his teammate didn't kill him.

Quote:
“(Kreutz) thought that everything he was always doing was in the best interest of the team. I don’t want that to come across like I’m admonishing him or saying that he was a bad leader. He was a great leader, but at the same time, when you have a room full of alpha males who were all the best players on their high school teams and one of the best players on their college team, to get them to buy in and fall into line, you need people that take leadership roles in an aggressive way like that. If you’re Jerry Angelo or you’re Lovie Smith, as much as you might not approve of some of the methods, you like the results. … People were going to come to OTAs and they weren’t going to have loose lips with the media, they weren’t going to do a lot of things to damage the locker room – not because they didn’t want to, but because they were scared of Olin.”

So he didn't like what Olin did but it needed to be done? He's too nutless to be the asshole and then crying afterwards that Olin was one. Take a hike.
