Take control of YOUR SHOW, that's what it is. The MEAT and leary SHOW. You had a pretty solid foundation from which to build but you've let Leary come in, take over and turn it into unlistenable crap. Mac would never have allowed Leary to come on and start putting up a front about being best friends with Bears players, the "Well, I talked with Lance and Cutler last night...." or "Yeah, Forte always needles me on twitter with that...." would NEVER STAND, IT's BAD and PHONY. The bogus and lame racial talk from a guy that went to HF highschool during the blue ribbon days would be kicked out the fuckin' window, never to return. This is YOUR SHOW, MEAT, do something with it, bring it back from destruction. You can do it, just tell Leary to fuck off and lay down some ground rule, this is shit you should have done from DAY 1. Now it may be to late, THANKS. For now my radio is off, as Darkside said, it's WMVP or Pandora or Spotify or driving into a pole. Lights out 9-1, you're done. TOPICS Racial talk and racial accusations from a moron who's hardly lived "the street life." I'm best friends with every Bears player! Talk Weird and creepy sex talk, but this is from both of them. Breaking down film on the radio -- great idea!! This is a perfect example of when Meat should have put his foot down and said, "no! We're not doing this! This is my show and I call the shots!" Only a guy like Larry would think that bringing Matt Bowen (of all people) on to break down film over the radio. Bowen is good on television when you can visually see what the hell he's talking about, but over the radio it all just sounds like mish-mosh, and most of us don't even remember these plays after several days unless we can SEE them. |

I got in the car today and heard Bowen. Thought it was Doug for about 30 seconds. Bowen needs a youtube channel or to post videos of this shit on the Score website. It does not translate over radio. I found another annoying Spiegsism today: Did you see _____? OH. MY. GOD. He said it twice today in the 20 minutes I listened. These guys aren't even men. It's a couple of old queens doing sports radio. |
