I think it's safe to say Dr. Ken is underestimating Laurence's wealth. He must in the neighborhood of 750K.

I knew a guy at CBOT who won 250K in a Calcutta down there. I would bet RPB could tell you a few stories as well. Still, while I do believe there are six figure leagues, I don't believe Sir is friends with anyone playing in them.

I am in the championship game for my league. I stand to win four figures if you include decimals

Total league pot at 100K+ doesn't stun me. 10-12 guys 10K entry fee is probably very common (relatively speaking).

It was. Spiegel was talking about his $500 fee being a lot for him but there's probably guys that are into 4-figures and Laurence jumped right to the 6-figures.

$10k fees are pretty common if you're looking for one. I've never heard of $100k entry fee.

It wouldn't shock me if NFL guys are doing it but I didn't think that was allowed so they might not appreciate LoHo talking about it.

Spiegel sure loves to hear himself sing. He should just stuff his face with another cup of soup...while at Gibsons...steak house. I'm surprised he's going to drink Scotch and not a quarter glass of sparkling Chardonnay. He sounds like my 80 year old aunt.

I used to like Spiegel a while ago, and now I'm not so sure. Any guy that lets Larry be the Alpha dog should probably have to turn his penis and testicles in.

Laurence personally answers texts into the station text line? :lol: That's hilarious.

I think that's pretty cool, at least he acknowledges you. How is it that Mac can come here say 1 sentence & get 4 pages but it's uncool for Laurence to reply to a text. Some of his stuff I like other stuff I don't so I am not in the ALS.

I guess I'm just assuming he only answered because it was negative. I doubt you'd hear anything if you sent in the usual "Laurence, your show is great, you are an important man, and I'm naming all my children after you…."

Yes.

Shamefully, I'll admit I texted Laurence last year when filling in for Spiegs and Mac. He busted out Hater Wednesday and I texted him to keep it in the evenings. Said I don't matter he's doing it.

He also said Ohio State couldn't beat the SEC and I texted he should stop talking since they beat Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. Said I should stop texting b/c they vacated the win.

I got shook.
