No. C'mon. By saying "Find another monkey", Mac was calling himself a monkey.

I hate when people reach to find racism, as you all know. Pet peeve of mine.

Mac told Mitch to "Find another monkey" knowing good goodamn well who was in the bullpen warming up for his show.

Now maybe he didn't know he was to be replaced by a Balck man at the time, but 8 weeks later, knowing a balck took over the job... why would you say "find another monkey"?
I hope Lawy doesn't run into Mac in the elevator. That could be the fiercest near fight ever.

Mac told Mitch to "Find another monkey" knowing good goodamn well who was in the bullpen warming up for his show. Now maybe he didn't know he was to be replaced by a Balck man at the time, but 8 weeks later, knowing a balck took over the job... why would you say "find another monkey"? I hope Lawy doesn't run into Mac in the elevator. That could be the fiercest near fight ever.

I don't think it was meant that way. Don't know for sure obviously, but Mac could have just as easily said "find another clown/idiot" and the phrase would have still meant the same thing.
