Haven't had one in a while. It's time.

Only questions. Don't clutter it with any other bullshit. All "Fuck you, Beardown" can be put in a "Fuck You, Beardown" thread. Somebody can start that one.

Just Mac questions. Go!!!! (I'm thinking of mine)

Mac,
Movie reviews with Park Ridge Bob=just plain wrong!

I know you don't want to play Company Cop but I can't
believe that segment is actually promoted like a regular "thing."

Did you ever ask those guys about it?

If I may ... I believe he said he's never heard the segment and therefor has not had any substantive talks about it with anyone.

Mac, What happened to the Score being the "voice of the fan"? Is Mitch blinded by the weak competition at ESPN. Does he get a boner every time he reads Bernstein's numbers? His act is old and played out. The fans made the station, not the other way around.

If a new station was created for the fans, it would destroy the Score and ESPN. People want to vent and let their inner meatball flow. They don't want to be made fun of and belittled on the air.

Just my 2 cents in a fountain full of silver dollars.

Here's the scenario!
No rules, no limitations. You can say whatever you want with zero repercussions. You have 30 seconds to say anything you want about anybody or anything in the industry on the air. Who would you call out and why?

Mac,
Will there be another tailgate party? If so, can give us a couple of months notice?

August 16th vs. Blue Jays would be great for me... :D

Post subject:  Re: Ask Mac

Mac, you mentioned in the other thread that the Score "isn't Bernstein's station, it's Rod Zimmerman's station." Now of course, nominally, he presides over the entire CBS cluster, so they're all Rod Zimmerman's stations, but I found it a little interesting that you leapfrogged Mitch, whose purview is limited to the Score. I know Rod came up out of 780, but we've speculated on this board for some time that he has a more, how you say, "active" role in the day-to-day operations of the Score than one would expect a regional manager to have. Is this the case? Does he indeed focus more on the Score than he does on 780 or B96 or XRT? If so, why?

Mac, why are Kerry Sayers' updates so consistently bad? It sounds like she either has legitimate difficulty reading, which I would imagine is not the case, or she uses VERY poorly written and oddly punctuated copy. I don't hear anyone else on either station have so much trouble doing what seems to be a relatively simple job.

Did Larry's destruction of your show and general awfulness (salute!) make you come back to your job sooner?

If Marty had an online porn subscription do you think his daughter still would have drawn those pictures?

Mac - Before the most recent time away, you mentioned on the air that you would not likely be around beyond your current contract and that some things were in the works (paraphrasing). Is that still the case or was that related to your emotional state at the time? Can you elaborate on what you were/are considering? Thanks
