This is how has been really, really solid since Mac's return...we know this. Mac is putting together and audition for The Game and using his shows shit ratings (when he was gone) as leverage to get more cash or go somewhere else and get his payday. Mac has been fiery, on point and rapid fire. He has recaptured some of his former glory while Meat has been good and solid co-host. Good stuff and all in all the show has been pretty damn good! They've done the 9-1 time slot proud and are definitely head and shoulders above the absolute shit how that starts at 1pm. So, as you can see the Mac and Meat show hasn't been absolutely fucking terrible. Post here. Enjoy your day. |

Spiegs is so dramatic , everything is so over the top " amazing , fabulous , greatest ever!!" Why would anyone be angry about a "wrap up" its a 2 hour show that will be on for 4-5 seasons...relax |

Nice interview with Theo Epstein. You can tell Spiegs was back in his element and enjoying the pure baseball talk. I think he misses the Hit and Run thing. |

So Mac once again busting out his opinion that he would rather see the Cubs win the World Series than the White Sox. His reasons are that his wife and many friends haven't seen one and he would like them to, it's a big missing piece in general of the city's sports resume, etc. Then people justifiably call him out on him insisting he's a Sox fan and still having this opinion, and his rebuttal is that he doesn't have the "second team complex" anymore, and that nothing would top '05, and that he doesn't care about the meatball "rivalry" between the fan bases. I don't care about the crosstown bullshit either, and I also wouldn't mind seeing the Cubs win the WS. But I believe that it's basically impossible to call yourself a fan of a team without actually preferring that team to win the championship every year. So yeah, I wouldn't take away his Sox Fan Card for wishing the Cubs success, but I would take it away because if you don't want the Sox to win the WS, then you're not a Sox fan. It really is that simple. |
