Illini/IU game at 11 shortens the show.

If I'm Tribune Co. I don't touch Mac with a ten foot pole.

Only way I would remotely consider it was if there were a random drug test clause. And easy termination terms.

Going by Jay's comment yesterday, Mac's outta here.

Can Macs old lady say that though ? I gotta think Mac has his house paid off n has 600k plus banked away...he can afford to take a year or two off.

The only thing that puzzles me is why would Mitch make him come in and convince him he is "OK" and then put him back on the air if he wasn't part of the long-term plan. That would be absurd from a business sense.

yeah lets give a guy who is paid to be entertaining random drug testing so frequently that he is molded into a corporate drone. that is a great idea.

I'll be tuning in and see how it goes. The NFL free agent stuff is starting to get a little stale but it is still the NFL and I want to know if the Bears get someone.

Agreed...most women are saints for tolerating the shit we pull...but mac is probably a much more pleasant husband n father when he's off for 6 months n fishing n chilling out. I could be wrong but MAC seems to have a good attitude about gambling , he's awful n he knows it...I don't ever hear him betting big..he probably loses 4-5 k yearly ..chump change for his bankroll .

I love my job, but there are other things in life that I would enjoy doing on a daily basis. The key is to stay active & not sit around on your ass doing nothing. I could get used to traveling & playing Golf on a daily basis.

Don't you think that a substance addiction hurts job performance & that job performance improves with sobriety? If not, wouldn't companies encourage substance abuse to increase productivity?
