Finfer got to be Spiegel's full time sub. Now drink subs for Mac and Spiegel? Jay would never say anything so I will. It's an insult. Especially with the hockey playoffs coming up. That's his specialty. Plus he can talk the other sports. Christ, drinky was some how deemed a baseball expert and given "hit and run". Something to consider, Mac. Maybe you didn't even think about it. You have hurt Jay's feelings. Give your own a run!!!! I think Jay's been at the Score as long as drinky anyway. It's not like he's not deserving. Bernstein should take care of his own. He doesn't care to and won't. Why Mac feels the need to take on Bernstein's Goff and drinky is admirable but not expected. Would Bernstein ever take on a Shep or a Zawawski? Hell no!!!! |

Drinky once said that Lance Briggs plays Sam Linebacker after telling a caller he was stupid while hosting with Boers. Kind of ironic. Boers also agreed that Lance Briggs plays strong side linebacker. Just cuz drinky said. Terry always nods his head to anything his co hosts says. Now, that's kind of a big mistake for a Chicago sports radio host. Just shocking that drinky wouldn't know Briggs' position. Seeing as though Lance Briggs has been one of the best weak side linebackers for OVER a decade for the Chicago Bears. In fact it was the basis of Lovie's defense. Funnel all plays to the WILL. Bet ya Zawaski knows Briggs plays WILL. Just one example. Drinky has said tons of things that proves he doesn't know sports. You all know it. You all hear it. So please, drinky doesn't win over Zawaski as far as knowing stuff. |

In fact, here ya go Mac, set this up for your show. Sports 101 contest. Not necessarily trivia. Although you could throw in a few. But just basic questions about sports. Like rules and technical things about sports. The contestants: Jay, Drinky, and one of Bernstein's "Meatball Callers" The winner between Jay and Drinky gets to be the midday show's permanent sub. Jay would win. The Meatball would get 2nd. Drinky would be last. Set it up. Promote it for a week. It would be fun. Smart listeners would love it. Meatballs would love it. Drinky's Italian friends would love it. Do it quick, Mac. You only have until June. |

I think I remember Jay saying once he isn't really comfortable hosting. I remember a Finji, Jay and Mac show last year and that's the only time he's hosted, IIRC. |

I would agree if Spiegel or Mac picked a sub that had talent. Wouldn't post anything about it. They didn't. They picked drinky. That's where it's an insult. |

The point of this thread is that it allows Beardown continue his hate of Abbatacola. I swear the dude must've made your life a living hell when you were an intern or a sales rep at The Score, Beardown. |

By the way, on a side note, I think Spiegel picked drinky as a sub cuz he wants people to think that they don't hate each other. It's weird. But that's his motivation. Make no mistake about it, they both still hate each other. Don't be fooled by this. |
