Is Mac back on the show? It is raining out so maybe he's taking a weather day/week/month...it's a possibility.

It's Monday and it sucks out.

Will they have random people from twitter co-hosting? If so, I nominate the Iron Sheik.

Mac out last week. Spiegel out this week.

The Mac and Spiegel Show

I'm trying to think of any other show on WSCR history where the hosts so infrequently worked together. I got nothin'.

Meat said last week that Mitch prefers them not to be on vacation at the same time so it is likely you get these occurrences.

That may have been the worst interview in the history of sports talk radio. Drinky really is a fuckin idiot. Go back to the other side of the glass where you belong. Fuckhead.

I thought the golf thing was fine. I also respect Mac and Drinky admitting they do what we all have at one point or another. Punch a successful athlete in the face for no really good reason.

Mac and Drinky is a far superior show to Mac and Spiegs. If I were Grimace I would be very careful about taking vacation days and days off to play in the cover band.

Thanks, I didn't hear that. Maybe it's not actually true if you count the days for everyone, but it seems like they're both gone more often than anyone else. If they negotiated the time, then good for them I guess, but it doesn't do much for show continuity. Not that the show is all that great when they are together. Their competition (Colin Cowherd, Carmen and Jurko) are terrible, though, so maybe it doesn't make a difference to management.

I'm not really using Mac's praise as a basis for my praise. Show is just way more entertaining. They also seem to have a higher energy level. Grimace is lying on his couch with a package of Buddig meat spread on his upper body right now eating and contemplating "becoming" the Doobie Brothers and others when 'Tributo" becomes his only source of income.

There are probably options for the future better than Drinky, but it is way better than Grimace. Tallest midget kind of thing maybe...

Having not heard a second of this, I'm 100% confident any "interview" Boers conducted within the last few years is still 1,000 times worse than today's.

You don't think he buys Boar's Head? My goodness, if he is eating Buddig, then he needs to get a raise.

I've always liked this pairing but drinky sounds like a schizophrenic man-child today. Tone down on the rabid jackassery, guy. Recognize how Bernsteinized you've become. Mac has amused me once or twice. He's a lame duck but it's good to have him a bit refreshed. Grimasaurus can stay away forever. Take your Buddig and your persecution complex and go treasure the joy of being Steel Dragon in some other city.

Matty bows out of tranny to catch Rozner's train I presume. Because of the reads thing Mac shoots at him and calls him Spiegel light.

So the falling out between Mac and Drinky has happened? I think I set the total at 3.5 shows. So what is this "reads thing" that has Mac pissed? Drinky did something wrong and offended Mac?

I knew drinky would Goff this thing up.

Lets bounce some weird stuff off the wall. Mac, Spiegs AND Drinky replace B&B. Those two knuckleheads could soften the sharp/bad edges of each other.

or......Terry hangs up the mike and it's 670 Bernsie/Goff v 87.7 Mac/Matty?

How's that for some Beardown style speculation?

Not bad, but lacking emoticons and accusations of racism.

Yea, I know. I just didn't have it in me to go full Beardown.
