Is Mac out today? Or does his preparation for vacation start on Friday? It's confusing but today is the NFL Draft so we can expect to get a ton of awesome analysis and insight from the same people we've been hearing from for 3 months....great. Maybe Hub will come on to make Twitter regurgitated proclamations and bite Mike Florio's ankle?

I may be wrong but just because you have vacation days available doesn't mean it's your God given right to take them :lol: I don't think I'm in the minority where I have to clear my days off with management. How whipped is Mitchy boy??

On a huge sports holiday like the NFL Draft where a lot people will be tuned in we have Mac taking the day off and Larry as the sub! Genius!!!

Yes, people should use their vacation days on cold and snowy days when there is less daylight and you could spend your day watching the Price is Right and soap operas. :roll:

I must work in an ridiculously strict place then as my firm asks we don't take day offs during important events such as the 2 days after each month end or during our annual audit. It only leaves me like 172 days to choose from but I manage.

Probably. We're free to take off days whenever. During tax season, it's frowned upon, but usually you put in Sunday time to offset any Jan-April vacation days. I had to go to Arizona last February for a wedding. That's the only time I've taken off during a tax season in my eight years here. Otherwise, take off anytime.
