It's all about the Blackhawk's today, folks, nothing but hockey. Meat may try and fit in some NBA talk but he will be laughed at and shouted down, Meat may try to talk about the White Sox being in the saddle and galloping hard on the plains but he will be told to shut up and take it to a show that cares......or watches. Bears? No fucking way. Bulls? NOPE. Hockey is fine, forced hockey talk is not. BUT THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE IN FOR. GOOD LUCK, YOU'LL NEED IT

Sounds like they may be on remote at a Dunkin Donuts today? Expecting lots of Hawkey talk but I am alright with it. Big game on the road tonight. Road trips have been the Hawks kryptonite so they are really going to have their shit together for a chance to win it all at home Sunday. I didnt get to listen much yesterday as the stream went down for me. |

While I still think Danny Mac should put himself out on the ice flow at cottage for the good of all concerned (us and his show), I gotta say that this new wrinkle of Mac pretend-joking about Meat's drinking problems has potential I could listen to that discomfort the two have about Grimace's drinkin' all day, kinda like a car crash you can't look away from. After all, Mac's a guy who's barely holding on to sobriety (dry drunk fiesta) danny mac taking inventory on his co-host grimace, who based on what he says regularly sounds like a guy who at least self-medicates wit' his drinkin'...not sure if it would get ratings, but as a longtime guy, that would be really uncomfortable appointment radio for me. Danny mac could keep his self-loathing and his disdain for his job and take it out on his co-host... |
