Yet nobody can defuse the palpable sexual tension between Spiegs, Robert Jordan and Joel Weisman like a Bruce Dold. What a douche. |

The again, Spiegel is quite good and authoritative on television. This could be the additional 450ml of Svedka talking but he's quite handsome in a M. Hyman & Son model kind of way. I would venture to guess that nobody could represent the pitiful Chicago Sports Radio scene better than he. I recall seeing Bernstein on tv once, and it made me very uncomfortable. All shifty-eyed and nostrily. |

All shifty-eyed and nostrily. I was going to ask if anyone saw this. I thought he came off well. He still seemed a tad smarmy but if you had never listened to him on the radio, based on this appearance, I don't think you'd know how unlikable he is. It is interesting that he doesn't have fat-person face. If think if you saw both he and, say, Karen Lewis only from the neck up you would immediately know that Karen Lewis was grossly overweight but I don't think you'd know that Spiegel was, too. |

It was Check Please like 3 hosts ago. Only a facile suburban douche in his 20s (or whatever) would choose Gene & Georgetti. http://checkplease.wttw.com/restaurants/gene-georgetti |

All shifty-eyed and nostrily. you know that a poster is "kicking that real" when he can only last 25mins before going "man fuck it, this post is so real that i have to reply to it like i'm having a conversation with myself" that's when this transcends being a mere anti-speagol agenda and enters the realm of being a proper ethos or lifestyle. poor "grimace" man... he's got this cushy dream gig (cuz evidently dude's all about cushy stuff) where he gets paid really decent $$$ to show up and talk shit about sports for 4hrs/day three to four days a week and yet he's got such flagrantly obvious neuroses (and hey, as someone who's been overweight since 4th grade i'm in the same boat.... albeit with a more openly-bombastic personality in order to make up for the fact that i need a buzzin-to-drunk 8/+ to take a look at me and look past the man-tits and pot belly to see the tens to hundreds of orgasms in her immediate future if she were to roll the dice and go with the clever boy who looks like he doesn't give a shit about "the game" as if he were comfortable in his own skin.... something that would likely help our durr speagol going forward because i think his shortcomings (such as being hypercritical of others) is a self-defense-mechanism used to take any and all attention off of him and onto the faults of others in a fit of psychological projection so pure that, well, look at how this board has taken up the grimace meme and ran with it. you reap what you sow.... and if you're sowing the oats of the world's most versatile cover band, well, that says something right there. has anyone heard any legit (read: non-sports-parody) original speagol tuneage? or does he only wanna show off his mastry of the musical arts in such a way that the deck is stacked because he only plays renditions of songs that are already known to be hits? |
