Cubs fan Bernstein seems quite excited. What about Cubs fan Mac? Can he really turn down the chance to finally be part of the Cubs family?

Hawks WGN/THE GAME.

WSCR gonna need Mac, unless cookie tastings carry the ratings.

Very happy for Mac being in the position he is in. I think we all would be OK taking an extended break while 2 or 3 companies talk to your people about deals for you.

50 days to Platteville!

There's the key.

People can bitch about Mac all they want but the numbers don't lie. The Score minus a Macker better have a hell of an ace card up it's sleeve. He'll win the time slot against any show on the Score he would go up against

Yup. Radio segments that highlight and showcase Meat eating himself to death don't really move the meters.

BernSTINES show is crapping the bed when it comes to the ratings now so if Mac goes to WGN....game over.

But if he goes to THE GAME, I am guessing he goes Afternoon drive. Maybe even morning guy, but he wont be Midday guy.

Morning? Fuck no, he'd use 150 days of vacation if he had roll in at 4am.

Afternoon is his time, he wants and he wants to slap around BernSTINE.

He will get that time slot and it will be the end of the BernSTINE SHOW.

The Game: a thing we generally tend not to air

When Mac was a Sox fan, he always found a way to be on the Sox flagship. It's clearly important to him.

How will his change of allegiance change things?

Probably.

Imagine if WSCR became part of the Packers radio network? Mac would probably work for only $200k a year.

Jason, Mac and Finfer afternoons.

Finfer will be what Mac wanted out of Grimmace. A host/producer.

Not denying Mac wanted to have very little to do with the production of the show. Its why he got Mr music former producer to join him. Problem became that Mr Ex producer wanted to be treated like the long time host that made it all possible and didnt do as much creative work as some might have hoped. (IMHO)

This.

I want to see Mac on the warpath again so badly.

Would be great if he got Roenick to partner up with him and Abbatacola.

Isn't the word that Roenick wants Eddie O's job?

I got it from one of Bernsie's sourcess. Can't tell you his name though. That would be violating my journalistic integrity.

Can Finfer work the board and chime in on rare occasions? If so, I'm down...
