There is nothing I like more when the Score devolves into stories about sports radio guys getting into fights and hissy fits. For all the macho bullshit, this is what the score really is: soap opera for guys. And any chance for guys to take a shot at Murph is a-ok. Now in tranny Berns will pretend to not hate anybody he works with or feel any tension to anybody except North and Murph. |

The story only took an hour and was poorly told on top of it. mac has admitted Soap Operas for guys as the basis of the shows, it works. |

The Peter Brown / Rick Telander meltdown was awesome. Brown was probably buddies with Glanville - and got him on the show - then Rick called him a washed up retread coach that was needy for attention - or something like that. It was pretty spot on - but pretty blunt - and out of character for the always lame Telander. Fabulous Sports Babe is a bad blast from the past I don't think we remember how big a job it was for Mac to create a competitive station out of WMVP. |
