Solid showing thus far by our two intrepid last souls. Heavy drinkers, heavy livers and heavy lovers....and eaters. Good pairing, good flow and keeping it on topic. Well done, sirs. Oh, and NO LARRY. HE IS GONE. Banished to the negative zone. I also cracked a smile when both hosts agreed that OTA/mini-camp Bears reporting is nothing but a waste of time. It is. Made up stories and reporters trying to blow up any little bit of nothing they can to justify their lives. NO THANKS.

Not much else to say.

Just listen in and you won't be disappointed...or you will be because you're a douche.

Regards,

SomeGuy

Hello all. Haven't posted in a while, but the continued Vin Scully blow job at WSCR has drawn me out. I have no doubt that he is one of the great announcers of our time, but the most employed listeners are sleeping while this guy does his thing. There are a handful of people in this town who care about anything Vin thinks. I have been on the road all week with the radio on in the car, and he has been a topic on multiple shows per day every day this week. That's Hub like! There are a handful of people in this city who care, and they are already employed by WSCR. I hope the Ramblin' Grimace gets his dirty work done on the mug while he lazily plays Vin Scully play-by-play replays from 1965. Lazy.....

Luckily I was up last night to watch the 8th and 9th innings. Love listening to Vin. It's cool hearing his call the next day, but yeah, repeats from 20-30 years ago, I could do without. Save those for his tribute show once he passes.

Spiegs "Is this the part where I say flying ball of lint? Oh wait Mac's off this week, I forgot."

Dare I say that the Meat is becoming an interesting lunch hour listen?

His early weekend morning solo shows on Sporting News Radio were actually pretty good.

Meat can definitely deliver the radio goods, consistancy of said delivery's is the question.

It seems he is stakong his claim and getting a good edge. It's beem a good show.

He sounded like an idiot with Kasper today.

And seeing it was Len, it's tough to stand out from him.

He isn't a very good interviewer.

Next.

He's not funny either.

In all seriousness, I'm obviously not a Spiegs fan but now that Mac is gone he seems angry and on edge. It's adding an unpredictable quality that Spiegs hasn't really had in the past. His shots aren't very funny but at least you rarely see them coming and someone getting edgy with Berns would help the whole station.

I've actually enjoyed Matty and Spiegs this week. Good flow and they work well off of each other. Just stop saying 2 Matt's 1 Show. We get it. Not funny.

What was the deal with all the Grobber mentions? I was doing some work around the house and kept hearing continual references to Grobstein's show. Did something happen on his show or did they just feel like talking about Les throughout the show?

les made a dumb analogy and they have been making fun of it for 2 days because les is an easy target. for what its worth they actually had les on air yesterday to discuss it
