Post subject:  WCUB: Junk Food Taste Tests 9-1
So yesterdays show thread has zero replies and Someguy didn't bother to make one today. Has everyone given up on the show with Mac's departure? Was yesterday just a particularly bad show? Is it possible that "fat guy eats food" is bad radio?

Yes. I'm not even kidding, as soon as Grimace mentioned the taste-test thing I turned the Score off for the rest of the day.

The Mac exodus begins...I gotta say, if I gotta have Meat/Grimace doing his thing sans Mac and his bullshit, I would prefer having Leary or Abbattacola(sp?) doing the show with him...

Been busy, like no time for OFFICIAL BUSINESS busy. But I'm back and in action.

No one has given up on the show, slow the fuck down.

I would much rather hear the guys play around with the food taste tests than some jabber about the World Cup. While I agree that it certainly is not at all substantive as far as sports go, it's a nice and somewhat comical break from it all. That's what turned me on to MAC and the Score in the first place.

And I would rather get stabbed than shot. The lesser of two evils isn't a ratings grabber. I enjoy bits that aren't strictly sports-related as well, especially during this part of the sports season, but those bits only work if they're actually entertaining. Listening to a person eat something is about as stimulating as smelling a person painting a picture. It's pretty clear from the other posts that this bit makes people PTFB.
