Whenever I have the misfortune of seeing a Giangreco or Canellis on television, I often ponder how they have managed to remain entrenched in these jobs for so long. These guys were doing these fucking jobs when I was a child and now I'm a grown ass man in my 30s. Is sports "guy" so far off the radar at a television station that no one cares what the hell these guys do on a nightly basis? They give no information to the viewer that could not be obtained from a website hours before it is presented on television. Their personalities are dull and smarmy, their opinions devoid of substance, and their commentaries are laced with eighth grade level sarcasm. These stations could get similar talent for less money if they cared. It's not like Giangreco brings in ratings, though I'm sure he thinks he does.

This could apply to almost any local news sports guy in Chicago. They haven't all been around since we were wee lads like Methuselah Giangreco but they're all pretty smarmy and annoying. Currently Pat Tomasulo tops my punch-in-the-face wishlist.

Tomasulo, like Spiegs, misses his daytime job while performing at night. Tomasulo does stand up in the hopes of someday becoming a headliner. I laugh at him because he is not comfortable around guys who are bigger than him, funny, and snicker at Jersey boys.
