Talking about the supposed Derrick Rose haters out there said something along the lines of "Who are the people so-called hating on Rose? If anything people are hoping for a healthy return. Is it random Twitter followers sending direct messages? Is it something we're missing from the Chicago media?...(pause) Who wants Rose to fail...Dan Mcneil?....(pause)...Mike North? ...." laughed and went to a commercial... |

Hate is such a strong word for a guy like Rose. I think there is a fair amount of disappointment with Rose in Chicago as people are skeptical about Rose's goals lining up with the teams. There is also a lot of concern that he can stay healthy and be the same player he was. But hate? |

When Mac had his 15th (or something) anniversary in radio he played VM messages congratulating him from some industry guys Patrick's was funny. He congratulated Mac on working his way up from a Hot Dog stand. Perfect amount of smarm |

I think Paul Pabst (Chicago guy & great Twitter follow) is well aware of why there are some sports fans in Chicago who think / hope Rose fails. Not to rehash the old story of him being a quitter and a pussy but it cracks me up to think that people can easily forgive that. I don't wish Rose or his entourage of ass kissers any physical harm (this is a game) but........... Karma police, arrest this man
