I honestly dont know if there's a perspective host that would attract me to listen again. All of the names thrown around make me
at best. Goff or Grote, but neither one blows my socks off..

Matty just isn't a full-time host. He's just weirdly hostile but also kind of ignorant, which makes for a bad combination. I thought the Goff/Spiegel pairing was pretty good when that happened during Mac's prior absence, but still nothing to get that excited about. I'd like to hope they can do better, but I'll probably just wind up settling for not-Larry. I like the idea posited elsewhere that no matter who they choose they need to split up the mid-day shift into two shows. |

Meat and Goff is probably about the best you can do. |

Yeah, it needs to be a 9-12 show, a 12-2 show, and then 2-6 for B&B. With no Mac transition, there's no point to having that extra hour, especially with the show being so fucking unfunny now. |

New York = 3 man weave until the end of the year featuring 2 Bears. South side = Black man with a voice. West side = Black man with a voice who played pro ball. North side = Anybody from the north side. South suburbs = Someone, anyone who played locally in the Catholic league. North suburbs = Someone, anyone who really likes Chicago sports (and who can get the various north shore types on speed dial) New York = Don't really care, just as long they come less than market and it doesn't seem like we care. |
