He was the last vestige of SCORE diversity.

Reactions from the Bernstein soldiers are coming in on Mac's departure.

Look at how happy they are.

How Leary is still on the radio, i will never know. Now that is a bad listen. Talk about a guy who is full of himself. He should be doing radio in a small rural town where no one can here him.

Bettendorf is going to win the MAC this year. If you think Assumption has any chance, just hang up on yourself!

I wouldn't say Leary is good radio, but much better than listening to Harry, Spiegel, Waddle etc.

Goff, Murph and Larry. Make it so.

Goff's tweet in honor of B&B is incomprehensibly obtuse.

They're my friends. They allowed me to be me. I thank them for that. #15yearsofbandb

This guy owes his entire failure of a career to his choice to abandon his own persona in favor of DBs. Dumbfuck.

Mac has been dead on THE SCORE for years.

Yep. Brought a knife to a gun fight. Beerstain had 10 years to consolidate his power before Mac's return. Not that it mattered. Mac's zeal died around 2004 at ESPN.

Bernstein's only rival is the ubiquitous Dave Kaplan. Seems laughable, I know. But Kaplan is expanding. He recently got his radio show televised. He's the Face of THE GAME. The man's raison d'etre is to bring mediocrity to any and all media outlets.

I still really like Kaplan. I consider him the best Chicago sports radio personality on-air right now. Waddle is up there and may be better, just don't listen as much anymore.

I actually like Kaplan too, but he's not the best.
You just have to understand his position I guess: he's a homer, especially for the Cubs.

Guess it's just the one thread in this section that I can't post in. Can't post in the "Wang Whipping" one for some reason. Anybody know why that's the case?

His position is aggressively stupid Cub fan.

He's also a jock sniffer and management apologist.

It's a matter of taste so you and Hoffy can like him all you want, but understand you are anomalies.

Most of the non-athlete sports radio guys in town are jock sniffers. Comes with territory.

Hey now, that's not very nice. Unless you apologize to me, I am going to find you and kick your ass down the stairs, wheelchair and all.
