Seriously, it is, at least for now. Not a bad show so far, people talk, they don't stutter or trip all over themselves, they can ask actual questions to guests and much, much more!

-Drop the Briggs talk, though, I think they said they were done with it but who knows....
-No fantasy sports talk before Friday but really it should be banned until Saturday/Sunday. That's the only time it's relevant.
-I like having the producers chime in with picks and such. Not bad.

SHOW
-Football is talked about. Green Bay is finished!
-Cutler vs Wilson talk(?)
-Baseball? Eh. Theo has nothing to do with the current crop of shitty bust picks so he gets another 6 years.
-Bulls? NOPE.

Enjoy!

I've listened a little bit the past couple of days and I've enjoyed it. Matt seems energized.

So are you saying this whole thing is Mac's fault?!

I have listened more this week than I have in months. It has been decent and Mannelley hasn't been as
bad as I thought he could be. They have had some decent guests on and as long as they don't take a
topic and beat it entirely into the ground I will continue to check it out each morning.

So far, with an admittedly small sample size (if only that was small) , "BallSack and the Bear" has been allright. Grimace has been trying harder, possibly knowing this is a last chance, maybe because he is out from under the Mac rules.

It certainly is better than anything including Jurko or the Dan Patrick fill-ins

This show is unlistenable. Grimace is just the worst. The know-it-all attitude and condescension doesn't drip but pours when he opens his mouth. How anyone can stand Princess Purple is beyond me.

I don't know about Nas, but how is the show's recent dip not attributable to Mac essentially abandoning the show?

I hated him during Mac's latest abstinence but he's back, albeit with a small sample size, in my good graces.

We'll see how long it lasts.

SO CHILL.

Yeah, I knew one of CSFMB's comedic giants would spin an Earth-shatteringly funny quip about that.

Eh, I'm just smart enough and awesome enough to be able to put petty hatred aside and enjoy something or at least not hate something.

You on the other hand are a Nazi with a small Nazi brain.

He actually sounds like he wants to do a radioshow this week.

In all honesty MeatMann isn't an awful show. Although Finfer is growing on me and I don't loathe Jurko. So any given day I will tune in. I flip anyway to whoever is interesting.

I listened today. Mannelly was okay, has some nice stories or comments about football but don't know how he'll hold up after the season.

Speigel is still awful.

I listened to Kap and Haugh today. They have better guests on their show. The ratings are going to be horrible for 670. I doubt this show lasts more than a year.

I'm glad to hear Spiegel say that the Bears victory chicken tradition will carry on. However, he did say on Tuesday that Button 48 is done. Was that the "We're happy for ya!" Audio clip?

Their in it for the long haul. We are currently doing a lot of work with WGN and they will launch hard once they have a signal.

I've always believed this, EL. de Castro may have made some unpopular decisions lately at WGN but I don't believe for one second that they started The Game on a whim with no long term plan. In fact, I stated before that it may have been created to eventually become the Cubs or Blackhawks Radio Network. Well, that was obviously before the WBBM deal was made with the Cubs but the Blackhawks are still there. This could get interesting...

Actually starting tomorrow my company has ads running with them. WGN, Online, and The Game. I was assured in talking to them about their plans. These guys aren't rookies, old WLUP sales staff from the glory days kinda waiting in the weeds right now until they push hard.

Exactly. The game and the score are very similar in the way that they started...except the game has a hell of a lot more money.
