Nobody listening? Or care to report if this is any good? Even SomeGuy?

If the show isn't good today it probably won't be ever. Let me know if this is the case, thanks everyone.

Chicago's Number 1 Source for Breaking Bears News has cornered the market on special teams contributors. Robbie Gould provided about 5 minutes of rich content regarding the punter's hang time and the quiet post-game locker room.

It's been ok I guess. They have Robbie Gould each Monday at 9:45. There was some intial calling out of the
linebackers by Spiegs which i couldn't have agreed with more. They were worthless. I was mostly concerned
with the secondary being horrible but from what I saw it was the linebacking group. 5 or 6 total tackles
collectively. They are just starting to dig into the released Ray Rice video of him cold clocking his fiancee
in the elevator.

I took in about the first hour. It was fine. Hardly ground-breaking or especially insightful. I learned it may not be best for an aging veteran to be buying shots for everyone until 4am on a Saturday before a game. I also learned that today was Monday. Real. Smart. Radio.

I'm liking Mannelly. He sees more, knows more, and for a first Bears Monday he's giving insight that hasn't been heard before. I like his football philosophy, and that he's seems both a player and a fan. I think Mannelly will break bad on the players and team if he's steered in that direction, and I think that's what i want to hear. Not so much his dishing dirt but being analytical and informed.

Spiegel is now going to have to either be a better driver or sit back and let his co-host run with things. Lose the "we" pot, the man spent 14 years with the organization he can use it euphemistically. Also, Robbie Gould was spot on in calling out the purpose of the pot. No purpose.

I'll be interested to find out when Spiegs takes a day off or two along the way. Can Patrick Mannelly actually drive the show or will his guest co-host do that instead? That's the great unknown.

As for tomorrow's lineup. These 2 will be busy:

9:40A: FOX Sports 1 College Football Analyst Joel Klatt
10A: "Around The NFL"
-Rick Stroud Tampa Bay Times (Buccaneers)
-Knox Bardeen FOX Sports South (Falcons)
-Jerry Coleman 105.7 FM Baltimore's The Fan (Ravens)
10:40A: Tribune Bears' Writer Rich Campbell
11A: Pro Football Focus' Steve Palazzolo
11:40A: The SCORE's own Adam Harris (Fantasy Football)
Noon: Former Bears' CB Mike Brown

I am thinking part of this deal is Meat pares back the days off to save his ass and show.

That raises an interesting question. Who gets the driver's seat when Spiegel is invariably gone? Leery is out of the picture for the midday show because he's so busy with the 120sports morning show and too loyal to Joe Ostrowski, Zaidman's up in Lake Forest most days, and I'm not sure Rozner can run a board. Guess it has to be Drinky, huh.
