12:46 and no daily show thread.

SomeGuy has bailed and is apparently running for governor.

No one else gives a fuck?

Mannelly seems fine but Spiegel, to me, is so unlikeable that I can't listen for more than a few minutes.

This.

I switch to it on lunch when C&J are on a break or unlistenable but I can't stick for more than a few minutes.

heard some promo for the show, it was like they didnt even believe in it. Humble in that they mocked the mistake of not really naming the show, but really not so smart either.

Do we know what the ratings have been without Mac for the last month or so?

I listened Monday and Tuesday. I needed a break today. I heard them when I went home for lunch and didn't
feel like I was missing much.

I think I like Mannely...as a person. His voice on radio is going to take some getting used to. I did like hearing the replies to texts as to whether or not he was ever afraid of anyone in the locker room ever, which of course he said "no". I wonder how his relationship was with Kreutz and if he ever feared him.

The last B&B caller brought up a good point. Mannelly said the locker room would have issues if a teammate had Ray Riced someone. Apparently they had no issues with Marshall, though?

Mannely is fine. No he isn't Mac but they could develop into a fine midday show where excellence is not required.

Mannely sounds the opposite of Mac though....almost warm, cuddly and fuzzy. I still flip around the dial at this point and have no show loyalty and/or station loyalty anymore.

Might as well call it "The S&M show". That could bring in new "curious" listeners.

I'm on day 7 of my personal Iron Man streak of not listening.

A few more months and you'd match Mac's streak of not showing up for work.

Show's not bad. Keep in mind, I like Mully and Handley. Oh yeah, and Murph, too.

Mannerly seems to be a likable sort.

exactly, the only difference with this one is that he did it on tape--NFL guys have been beating up their wives/girlfriends for forever and we never cared before like this.

And Marshall did it before becoming a Bear. We have no idea what Denver or Miami lockerooms did/treated him.

Dead to me. I might listen if it was anyone but Spiegel. He's worse than Holmes.

That's reasonable, Pittmike.
