'Big Doug' is, far and away, the best bit on the station currently. That's not to say WYC or Friday Fung might not have a funnier moment, but basically you know what you're gonna get top to bottom out of 'Big Doug' and you're going to be satisfied ... the floor and ceiling are fairly narrow but it's all in a good range.

it helps that unlike a B&B bit, there's actual work being put into the Big Doug production.

Russ Patera puts in work on those! And Doug saying he started the day by smoking a joint today is out of character humor!

Clap your hands if you believe that Big Doug is the truth
Clap your hands if you believe that Big Doug is hiding on your roof
Clap your hands if you believe that Big Doug will knock out your front tooth
'Cause he's Big Doug...

Parody songs that I like!

Friday Fung can be funny, WYC is just the drizzling shits.

Big Doug is an entertaining bit overall, but I'm not sure which is worse, the parody songs, or M&H cackling after hearing them.

Nay, good sir ... it's the parodies that are part and parcel of the overall presentation that delivers each and every week. It's the faux "half-assed" production value behind them that makes it great .... it's made to seem haphazard and slapdash but I have a strong suspiscion, as someone already said or at least alluded to, there's quite a bit of production value behind the songs (as well as the overall bit). The pieces are all there, but without diligent effort it doesn't come together, at least not consistently.
