No new show threads since 10/30.

I tune in a couple of times a day to see what's going on, but Spiegel's lousy personality prevents me from sticking around for too long. That's a shame, because I really like Mannelly.

IDK it is fine. Just have it on. Not too high or too low so no controversy here I am guessing.

How can one lose something they never had in the first place?

Pretty sure Socrates said that at some point.

Been pretty busy at work. I'll catch bits and pieces when I run home for lunch but I've mostly been listening to
music lately.

That's pretty much spot on. Spiegel is just so unlikable I can't make it thru more than a few minutes. Mannelly won that furious 5 thingy they do and of course because anytime anything to do with music comes up Purps had to hijack it and regale us with his vast knowledge of 80s movie music. He really thinks he's a musician therefore any music subject automatically defaults to his insufferableness. PTFB.

Never had any innerest. I will admit to checking out the stream during my weekly conference calls just to satisfy my sports radio voyeurism (and to see how many fat guy shirt tugs Spiegs will do).

I generally agree with RR. The station is losing me.

100% lost interest. I've been listening to news talk. And I don't like any Chicago sports teams at all anyway, so I don't even know why the hell I tuned in to begin with.

This. In my case, the Game is on. I will admit to turning on M&H lately because the Game is not sports oriented in the morning.

The show might have sustained more interest if the Bears had been more than less than stellar ... but that would've only staved off the inevitable "m'eh" once that dull roar died down.

It's unfortunate, I'd say, because of all the personalities at the station Pat seems to clearly be the least controversial and most affable .... which is a somewhat sad commentary of what apparently 'gets over' with the consumer of sports talk radio in this market.

I just cant listen to Meatpants, & have pretty much stopped listening to The Score. I listen to The Game most of the time & will sample Dahl.

Which one, Serial?

I'm just finishing up the 4th episode. Still have to knock out 2 more, maybe 1 on the ride home today.

It's pretty good. A little confusing at times. I wish they had a page on their site for each episode with some photos and such to help put an image to the narrative. I see they have some stuff but it didn't look like much and I didn't want to search around too much and get spoiled as to what is coming up.

I've become a crotchety old man but in the past few months, nothing but podcasts 670 was the last holdout but losing Mac really hurt my personal listening of it even if he mailed it in.

Was flipping around during lunch and realized that both Spiegel and Finfer are doing the same show. And that show is just a knock-off of a Mac show.

Spiegel's over/under segment is exactly the same as Finfer's drinking game segment. They even had same-to-similar topics.

Spiegel puts the over/under on seeing Olivia Munn at 0.5.

Finfer says take a shot if we see Olivia Munn.

I wonder if Mac is collecting franchise fees for these outlets.

Someguy's daily show thread intro's were better than listening to the show.

It's a healthier radio tree than the Bernstein one, I guess. I actually think Finfer has been ok.

Good call Doc.

Franchise fees are in the mail I'm sure.

I have not listened to the Da Snore since 10/24. That was the last day. I stopped listening to B&B back in May of this year.

The station is dead too me. Hell, it is even off my radio preset.

This show is awful. Pat is far from a radio host, and fat ass will always suck. The Score doesn't respect their listeners, having hired these 2 and Hampton in the past.
