Robbie won't speak about the offense or defense.

Insight.

 Not much reason to have the injured kicker on to talk special teams

I forget sometimes that this show exists.

Hoping this 'reminder' doesn't backfire like a fake punt.

Not sure why Mitch likes special teamers like Robbie and Patrick.

Sadly, there actually is far too much special teams news.

But, Gould's thoughts that last night could have been their best ST game of the year if not for the punt fake and that the punt fake was a great call, well, they're bad thoughts.

I am pleased as punch that the Bears have for so long had the valuable services of Robbie Gould.

I hope I never hear him speak again the rest of either of our lives.

The Shep Special Teams Quiz has a bit of potential as an amusing bit. I said bit twice. Well, now thrice.

I feel as though he's at his most interesting when he discusses specific things about this team and this coaching staff.

He's going to lose that advantage in 12 days.

I could go for a Bit-o-Honey.

Under-appreciated candy.

He's alright as long as someone is askng him questions. No way could he drive a show or host solo...and his commercial reads are horrible...and his lisp is annoying.

I think he'll grow into the role. He has a pretty good perspective on professional athletics, which I think will benefit him beyond the football season... and if not, at least he's not an arrogant dick.

See, that was an interesting explanation of what that fake punt was supposed to do.

Mitch must have a lucky horseshoe up his ass to have hired a special teams expert as a host at the exact moment where special teams talk radio exploded in Chicago.

How can Gould even think? The Bears had a penalty on the goddam opening kickoff! The game clock hadn't even started yet and there was yellow laundry on the field due to a Bears fuckup.

The execution of the fake punt was unbelievable, but I like the fact that Trestman called for the fake punt. Professionalism be dammed, run all kinds of trick plays and gimmicks these next two games. Let Forte throw a pass, have Kyle Long at fullback, put Cutler at WR for a play, flea flickers, reverses to somebody other than Jeffrey. Try and inject a tad bit of fun-- for the players and the fans-- into these last two weeks. If it doesn't work, who gives a shit. Point at yourselves and laugh.
